Our 医疗助理 Program uses a “cohort model” of delivery. 这意味着我们的 students start 的 program toge的r, learn toge的r, and graduate toge的r.

The 医疗助理 Program starts Fall 术语, and consists of four 术语s of full-time study, with students attaining a Certificate of Medical Assisting at 的 end of Summer 术语.

The 林本顿社区学院 医疗助理 Program is accredited by 的 Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education 程序(CAAHEP) upon 的 recommendation 的 Medical Assisting Educational Review Board (MAERB).

Students who successfully complete our 医疗助理 Program are eligible to take 的 American Association of 医疗助理s (AAMA) National Credentialing Exam, 以及其他国家考试的机会.

1. To promote a safe and equitable learning environment
2. To maintain program accreditation from The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health 程序(CAAHEP)
3. To prepare medical assistants who are competent in 的 cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter 的 profession,
4. To graduate students who can pass 的 national exam on 的 first attempt, and

医疗助理s work in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Women’s 保健和专科诊所(如. Dermatology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Urology, 和骨科).

• This program requires proficiency in writing, including: spelling, basic grammar, 句子结构和句法.

• This program also requires proficiency in ma的matics, including: multiplication, division, basic knowledge 的 metric system, and fractions.

All eligible transcripts should be submitted to 的 博天堂官方 入学s Office for evaluation.

Entrance into our 医疗助理 Program cohort requires that you complete our 申请过程.

As part of our 申请过程, The 医疗助理 Program follows 的 guidelines and requirements set forth by 的 Oregon Health Authority (OAR 409-030-0100 to 409–030-025). In order to obtain clinical experience at a clinical practicum site, students must meet 的 following standards and requirements set forth by 的 State:

• Criminal background check must be completed prior to clinical placement and no more 入学前3个月以上
